As a well-rounded and experimented HR, with a clear spike in people development and a solid knowledge of Swedish labour law, you will embrace all the roles a typical generalist HR could do in a fast moving environment. As a key person for BETAO’s growth acceleration, you will work in close connection to the company’s CEO to define and deliver our people strategy.
Your role will include, though not being limited to:
Define with the CEO what our strategy should be to attract and retain the best people and help them thrive.
As a fast-growing company, recruitment is of strategic importance for BETAO. Being able to recruit talented people fast is key to our development. You will therefore work hand in hand with the managers and our in-house talent acquisition manager to ensure we recruit the right profiles for now and the future and we improve our lead-time on strategic recruitments.
You therefore will need to be able to
- Understand business stakes and needs for each function to be able to understand precisely the type of profiles and skills needed and kickstart the recruitment process accordingly
- Define recruitment strategy for each type of population (from public job boards to top level headhunters depending on position to fill) and help create a network of “recruitment sources” to directly source people whenever possible
- Perform job interviews for some positions with a good ability to “read” people and address insightful recommendations on candidates to the management team
Company culture and corporate branding
We are a company where 90% of the staff are expatriates. Helping them to sail smoothly through the Swedish system is key to our employees’ satisfaction. This specific profile gives us a strong company culture that needs to be better formalised. You will therefore need to be able to:
- Implement actions plans to help reinforce our company culture and make it a key element of our corporate branding
- Device and implement strategies to make Betao as attractive as possible to the best talents
- Work hand in hand with Marketing to promote our employer brand
Personnel administration and engagement
- Tailor onboarding procedures to the specificities of our population
- Own the approach to employee consultation and engagement to ensure our people are appropriately involved and informed on business decisions which affect them and are always listened to in a timely manner
- You will also of course be the guardian of the compliance of all our processes and practices with Swedish labor law
People assessment and development
- Support team to drive a high-performance culture through proactive performance management and coaching
- Provide learning and personal development solutions to support business needs and career development
- Be the go-to person for all employees regarding potential managerial issues as well as personal development questions
Who we are looking for
- You have at least 5 years of experience as an HR generalist in Sweden
- You are praised for your very strong human skills and ability to rapidly bond with people
- Trustworthy, you care about people and answering the demands and needs is your priority
- As HR is serious business you pay great attention to details
- You are easy to get along with and people seek your presence and advice
- Of course, you are fluent in English and Swedish. Conversational French and a “thing” for France would be a big plus
